How will I learn Powerchi YOGA®?
Initially everyone who wants to do Powerchi YOGA® must start with the 6 week Introduction to Powerchi YOGA® course either in a group setting or on a 121 basis.
Thereafter you are free to practice Powerchi YOGA® in the comfort of your own home or attend ‘pay & practice’ session with others. Pay & practice 121 sessions can also be arranged.
The same process will apply if you wish to progress to one of the higher levels of Powerchi YOGA®.
You'll just need some loose comfortable clothes. Any clothing in which you can move freely is suitable e.g. tracksuit bottoms and T-shirts. All our classes are done barefooted.
All classes are 60 minutes long.
Why is Powerchi YOGA®usually practised in bare feet?
By practicing barefoot you become more connected with the earth as the synthetic materials used to make the soles of shoes isolate you from it.
If Powerchi YOGA® is practiced indoors in a studio or dojo it is also best to practice barefoot so as not to bring the outside inside.
